We went to a charity hockey game today...the bank put on this game to raise funds for the pediatric center in our local hospital. My husband won 3 tickets to the game...so we went and took our 4 year old...we thought he would have a blast. We were wrong after the warm up he was bored and wanted to go home. All he cared about was getting to see the team mascot. Anyway it was a cool game...not a typical hockey game by far, I don't know if it was it was because it was the oldtimers, or if they wanted to keep it tame but there was no slaming into the boards, there was no one being hit with sticks or fists, no tripping...just hockey which surprised me...
Anyway here are a few shots of the players...now I am not a hockey fan but I do remember some of these guys from when my husband was a huge fan...back 15 years ago or so...we don't get many Calgary Flames hockey games televised here and he doesn't have much time for watching the games anymore...anyway

Anyway here is the highlight of the game for my son...being attacked by Harvey the Hound the official mascot of the Calgary Flames...
