Teenage Birthday Party

So 15 years ago I was given an angel....I can't believe the time that has flown.
She is a true teenager now into fashion and makeup and talking on the phone all day with her friends.  In today's world teenagers are so different than when I was a kid (just as I am sure my mother and her mother before her said) but now you don't just go and hang out iwth your friends you call, text, IM, facebook whatever you are in constant contact with your friends and they seem to be a totally different breed than teenagers of the 80s but she is a good kid at heart and I guess I should be happy about that.  Just like her name suggests, Ariel, she is a princess...
She wore her princess tiarra all day of her party and then all day on her actual birthday at school, she is definetly a unique person (and yes I say that in the nicest possible way).  This was the most interesting party I had ever 'attended'...since my daughter doesn't like to alienate anyone she remains friends with everyone...including the boys she has dated.  This wasn't her first boy girl party but it was the first one where they boys outnumbered the girls.  The awkward part is that two of the guys were her old boyfriends and one her new boyfriend???teenagers?
The guy on the floor seemed to feel left out for some reason...I was told later that he tends to be pouty if he doesn't get what he wants :(  It was really loud of course with a house full of teenagers.  Yes I know kick them outside unfortunately it was pouring down rain that is why they were in the house...Christopher tried to come up with a way to get away from some of the noise...
From what I hear it didn't work very well.
