Sunday--forgot to put this in last weeks' update. We went to sell Girl Guide cookies today. It wasn't a good day, the weather was beautiful and we had 9 girls between the two units show up which wasn't too bad but people weren't interested in buying cookies.
Monday the girls went out in our neighbourhood and surprisingly they sold more cookies than we sold in blitz on Sunday...thankfully that cut down a lot on the cases I had in my garage :) Nathan also went for a job interview at Wal-Mart today and thankfully he now has a job in the Home Electronics department which is what he wanted. Hopefully this will help him out in his future plans.
Tuesday was the P.A.R.T.Y. day for Ariel's class...see here for all the details.
Wednesday was Connor's 'Eggstra' special day at Preschool. Nathan had his orientation for his new job today as well.
Thursday was a very hectic day as we got ready for our trips to my mother's. We found out at 8pm that Brittany wasn't going on her Guide trip until next weekend so we had to rush around and get her stuff ready to come with us. Ariel had a hair appointment and thankfully that didn't take too long...it was a crazy day.
Friday we got up early and hit the road. Both Ariel and I were car sick for the whole trip, I haven't gotten this car sick in quiet awhile and because it was Good Friday there was no where you could stop and get gravol as nothing was open (and you have to buy it from the pharmacist now). We finally arrived at my mother's at 4:30 to find out the baby shower had been canceled and that Easter dinner was going to be at my mother's which meant I would end up cooking it. And this started my very frustrating weekend. Today Kimberly (my step-niece) turned 21 but we never saw her to wish her happy birthday or anything.
Saturday wasn't the day it was supposed to be. My mother had to work, which is usually the case when I go to visit her so we sat around her house most of the day. After lunch we went over to my brother Allen's for awhile to visit him and his two sons. Then after Mom was finished work her and I went grocery shopping. Christopher and Nathan headed in to Calgary for his Aunt Ardy's 65th birthday party...I wish we had all gone because it would have been better than staying behind.
Sunday we had Easter dinner at my mother's well what a headache that was...first we didn't get the nearly 30lb turkey into the roaster until noon...which should have been in hours before. Then we were using my brother Allen's convection oven and it was burning the outside of the turkey while the inside wasn't cooked, so we ended up putting it in the oven hoping to salvage the bird. At 7 pm we finally had supper...as I mentioned earlier I ended up doing all the cooking with some help from my husband and my brother Albert carved the bird. Autumn opened her gifts from the family for the baby (since the shower was canceled) and I took some pictures of the them...look in Easter post for pictures.
What a crazy week I am so glad it is over.

Sounds like you had a super busy week! Good luck with whatever cookies you have left. We just got rid of our last few cases.
It's funny, I always thought that Holiday weekends were about rest and relaxation... then I became a mom, lol!
