Weekly Update

April 20-26/09

Monday my baby turned 15 I can’t believe it…it seemed like yesterday that she was just a baby.  She had her boyfriend, David over for dinner, she wasn’t overly impressed when she realized that we knew more about his boy than she thought we did.  His father worked with her father for years J she wasn’t impressed with that at all. 

Tuesday my pathfinder girls came over to watch the Juno awards…yes I know they were on weeks ago but the girls have been very busy J  The girls had a great time making jokes about the host and listening to the performances, it was another great evening with them.  This is the part I am going to miss next year when I am no longer a pathfinder leader.

Wednesday was earth day, I posted about what it means to me here.  This was the first year that Connor knew anything about Earth Day, so in class they planted a sunflower seed in a Earth friendly pot and he is so proud of it.  I hope that he keeps that attitude ;)

Thursday was just another one of those days, no stop stuff but nothing note worthy.

Friday, Joelle returned to Cold Lake after her first year of college.  Glad to have her back she is a great girl but our lives just got a lot busier…good thing she has a driver’s license J

Saturday Connor and I went to the park while Christopher was at his dart tournament.  His team placed 5^th for the year and 4^th in the tournament…not bad for someone who hasn’t played darts for years J  Connor and I had a blast at the park and you can read all about it and see the pictures here.

Sunday other than District meeting for Guides just another day in the neighbourhood.
