My Conehead

I took my dog to the vet today and he is now a conehead...

My poor puppy has been sick for the past few days and it has been rough on everyone.  The vet informed us today that there is two issues with him, to avoid the gorie details I will just say that his anal glands were not emptying properly...causing a horrible odor in our house.  The other is a stomach issue.  He doesn't know the exact cause of the stomach problem it could be a variety of things, so he will take a stool sample and run tests as well as giving my puppy pills for his stomach upset and hopefully we will be able find the problem and he will be feeling better soon.  After the vet emptied his anal glands he seems to be feeling much better...other than the cone that he hates.  They had to shave his behind and put cream on it and the cone is to prevent him from licking himself.

Hopefully in a few days all will be back to normal around here...it always happens my husband goes out of town and something goes crazy :)
