On Saturday we went to the local pool as a family, well everyone but Nathan (he isn't a water fan) and we had a blast. One of Brittany's friends was there so she played with Rebeka and Connor, Christopher, Ariel and I splashed around.
Warning the pictures in this post are not the best as I took my old camera and had to use the sports setting and the pictures turned out grainy due to the lack of lighting in the pool :(
Brittany went down the waterslide and loved it...the first time she came down with her back to me so the second time she came down giving me the thumbs up.
Ariel took Connor down the waterslide and as you can see he thought it was the greatest thing. I took him down twice the first time was good but the second time he was sitting down lower and got a face full of water...that was enough for him, good thing we were heading home then.
Connor was having a blast on the wave boards (I guess they are called) he kept trying to go surfing and of course would wipe out since the board would sink to the bottom of the pool as soon as he stood on it, but he didn't care he was having a blast. He was starting to get annoyed though every time he looked away someone would steal his board and he'd have to go and get another one.
Christopher said he was starting to feel old and that they just didn't make the pools as warm as they used to :) he sat in the kiddie pool half the time because it was warmer and then just got out and watched because he was too cold. I have to agree with him the water seems much colder now.
After swimming we took the kids out to Humpty's and then went home to play Rockband and Sing Star. I am one of those people who has a hard time sitting doing nothing and I guess I passed that on to my children...this is what they were doing when it wasn't their turn.
Then Nathan decided that the songs that the younger kids were picking were too easy so he had to multi-task and was playing with the dog while playing a song on Rockband on Expert...I can't even play the song on medium let alone play with the dog too :)
This is my favourite shot of the day. Connor loves to sing and play guitar, music is his thing and this shows just how much he enjoys Guitar Hero, Rockband and SingStar games. I tried to get other shots of him rockin' but none of them turned out like this one. My future rockstar...remember his name because one day you will be able to say "I knew him before he was famous."
I can't believe my husband sang ABBA songs on SingStar...overall it was a great day!

Sounds like a lot of fun Tali! Have yet to try Rock Band but it looks like a blast!
That sounds like a fantastic day! I can't believe you had that much energy to do all that! I would have been exhausted after the pool. Love the photos!
