This year is a big year for graduations at our house...
First was Connor's graduation from Preschool. I was expecting a little bit more as when Nathan graduated from Preschool it was a big deal but I guess this year was a rough enough year they just let it end. But I got a great shot of Connor with his teachers. The teacher on the right is the one who had to pull out most of the year because her daughter was in a terrible accident, it is still a long road but her daughter has come much farther than they ever thought she would, and that is wonderful. The teacher in the middle is the one who had to step up to the plate with no notice and tried to pull it all together and she did a great job. The one on the left is not actually a teacher but a friend of the first teacher that volunteered to come in when she didn't have to work at her other job...Connor loved her she was wonderful with him...I heard many times over the last few months "Laurel said..." I am very thankful for her.
I can't believe my baby goes to Kindergarten four full days a week in September :(
My next graduate was Ariel who graduated from Grade 9 into High School...
First the Relational Aggression team were presented with certificates and the plaques that the parents purchased for them. They were so surprised they had no idea the presentation was for them :)

The school doesn't really have a graduation ceremony, they just say a few words about each student, give them a certificate and a rose and they move on to the next grade...I got a nice shot of her before the presentation.

Which I have editted using a frame created by Liz at digial designs by liz,

Here are a couple blasts from the past...first is Nathan's preschool graduation...maybe the only time I will see Nathan in a cap and gown.

Nathan is the boy at the front of the second group...hard to see but cute :)
And then 10 years later he graduates from Grade 9...funny how he was just under 15 here and he looks so much younger than his sister who just turned 15 a couple months before her grad picture? I noticed this with the kids in the class as well the girls look so much older than the boys :)
I wish I could post some Grade 12 grad pictures for you but he didn't get any taken...his girlfriend is insisting on some grad pictures with him and hopefully I will get some then...I can't believe my baby is old enough to graduate from high school already :(

Awesome pictures! We don't do a Grade 9 graduation here in the states...we graduate to High School after Grade 8 but I guess the idea's the same! Anywho...congrats to all your graduates!
I love all the pictures, I am still workingn on the ones I took of my brother! Photo editing is some serious work when you take hundreds of photos, lol!
I hope you get those graduation pictures!
