This week's assignment is to get up close and personal...I have tried this as I love the blossoms in my yard lately but I don't have a macro lens for my camera and they just don't seem to pop as much as I would like but here are some attempts.
I had a hard time with cherry blossoms and apple blossoms on my tree in the yard, it is a pretty picture but is missing something...

We have a tree in our yard that is two apple trees mixed together, it has purple blossoms and white ones...

I tried to zoom in on the bees that were pollunating the tree...I only had my 18-55mm on so I couldn't zoom in too close without getting close to the bee :(

I think this one turned out nicely but it was difficult to get as the wind was strong and blowing the tree and the bee all over the place...

I cropped this one down and I think it looks nicer this way...

This is a cropped version of the lilac bush in my yard, I like the out of focus background but I wish I could have gotten more details, it seems to be a touch off...

LOVE the crop with the bee. What a great shot. I really like the lilac, but I feel like the lighting could be better (an off camera flash might help) but I know you were probably working with the natural light, and its still a cool shot. And the cherry blossom is so pretty! I wish my yard was so interesting! Great job on the assignment.
what beautiful photos!! I really love the one of the bee-it is a great macro shot. I can just picture your yard in my mind and it is Beautiful:-)
Those pictures are wicked awesome! The flowers are really pretty!
